MTV Iggy: ”Tenderfist is a humble indie gem”

Malaysian Tenderfist made an impress on MTV Iggy’s Beverly Bryan. He described them ”a humble indie gem nestled in Kuala Lumpur”. Well, anyone who saw them playing at Club Niubi’s gigs in late September can agree with that.

Here’s what Bryan wrote: ”Tenderfist’s gentle synthpop avoids bombast. It won’t demand your attention, but it will reward it. Old school twee and new school chillwave cuddle up together for a breezy sound that lies somewhere between Toro Y Moi and El Guincho.”
